I worked as a Systems Analyst on the project of a Bank, which was developed in Visual Age for Java and DB2. My job involved interaction with the client regarding their requirements for the banking system. Analysis of the system and design of the application modules. Supervising and helping in database design.

AUTOMATED BUSINESS SERVICES (ABS) is an IT Solution Provider with expertise in Item Processing. ABS is an IT consultant of National Institutional Facilitaion Technologies (NIFT). NIFT is an automated clearing house providing its services to more then 45 banks of Pakistan. Initially I joined ABS as a Software Engineer and subsequently promoted as Systems Manager and given the assignment to setup NIFT Lahore.

a. Setup of NIFT Lahore
Location: Lahore (NIFT)
Position: Systems Manager
NIFT started it’s Lahore operation in 1999 and i was assigned the task to setup IT infrastructure there. I was involved in the Initiation, Planning, Executing and closing of the project. The task included dealing with various international IT consultants regarding procurement of Hardware and Software for the automated clearing house. After the selection of the consultant i was also involved in deployment of Hardware (installation of new sorters) and software with the help of foriegn consultants.

• Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones.
• Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

A billing system for National Institutional Facilitational Technologies which involved more than 540 branches of 45 banks working in Lahore. This system handles around 10 million records per month and contains 15 different reports. I was Development Leader and had also Analysed the system.
