Successful Chiropractic Physician for 31 years, with extensive experience in both personal injury and sports injury cases. Served as team doctor for all athletic teams at Twin Lakes and Palm Beach Lakes High Schools in West Palm Beach, Florida until moving to Tampa area in 2003 to be near family.

Working for the Florida Department of Health in multiple capacities, including Medical Quality Assurance inspections and Biomedical Waste inspections for all of Pasco County, has allowed me keen insight into the Health Department approach to policing all healthcare facilities.

WORK HISTORY

1/2008 to present Consultant to Tobacco Prevention Program, Pasco County Health Department, New Port Richey, FL: Create and present programs on the dangers of tobacco products to schools, civic organizations, professional healthcare providers and youth groups. Implement policy change with County commissioners in conjunction with creating SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco) Clubs in Middle and High Schools throughout Pasco County. Create partnerships with the American Cancer Society, American Lung Assn, etc to educate the public on policy changes recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.

9/2005 to 1/2008 Certified Environmental Healthcare Specialist, Pasco County Health Dept.: Performed Biomedical Waste and Medical Quality Assurance Inspections at physician’s offices, hospitals, clinics, massage facilities and nursing homes. Provided training classes for healthcare facilities on MQA and BMW requirements.

2/2005 to 9/2005 Disease Intervention Specialist, Hillsborough County Health Dept., Tampa, FL: Performed sexually transmitted disease investigations, including interviewing patients, tracking down the contacts of any positive tested STD patients ad insuring that they were treated for their condition

2/2005 to present Chiropractic Physician, Abbey Medical Center, Tampa, FL: Treated patients 2-3 evenings weekly, using diversified and Activator techniques and Acupuncture. Patients are primarily personal injury and musculoskeletal injury cases.

12/2003 to 2/2005 Environmental Specialist, Palm Beach County Health Dept., Delray Beach, FL: Collected ocean samples from public beaches for laboratory analysis and interpreted results for safety and sanitary conditions. Used as a resource to code enforcement personnel, City Managers and contractors on the technical and safety requirements for swimming pools.

8/74 to 12/2003 President, Healthcare West Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Royal Palm Beach, FL: Examined, evaluated and treated patients, utilizing chiropractic medicine, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, exercise physiology and rehabilitation.
