Project 1

Name of Project: BMS 2 HIP Application

Client: Medavie Blue Cross

DESCRIPTION

The objective of the program is to develop a SOA-based web application that is functionally equivalent to the existing BMS VB application with some enhancements. The Application is developed using the 2I Model (Iterative-Incremental), which means that Design, Development and Functional Testing are completed for small units of functionality simultaneously. Medavie has a 2012 Vision. Current BMS Application that ‘Medavie Owns’ provides solution only for one Hosted Carrier at a time. Whereas Medavie visualizes that HIP can be ported for multiple hosted carriers at a time.

As a Tester, my responsibilities include:

• Involved in arranging reviews for the Test Documents and reviewing the Design Documents.

• Involved in functional, UI related and Non Functional Requirement related Test case Execution.

• To find bugs and lodge them in defect tracking system.

• Tracking the bugs till their closure.

• Participated in defect prevention meetings and have suggested some useful ideas.

• Upload the Test Cases In Quality Centre

• Interact with team members and extend support in testing of the software

Project 2: Microsoft CRM Project (Customer Resource Management)

• Involved in functional, UI related and Non Functional Requirement related Test case Execution.

• Interact with team members and extend support in testing of the software

• Testing the Application in localized Languages.

• Understanding the new Business Requirement.

DESCRIPTION

Apple Online Store is the store for customers for online purchases like Apple products iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac products, Mac Accessories and Apple Gift CardsBOPIS-Buy Online Pickup In Store-a major part of AOS (Apple Online Store). Pick up products in Apple Retail whether they are from retail in-store inventory or from online store inventory and shipped. This is Referred to as Buy Online, Pick up In Store (BOPIS).A customer should have the ability to pick up an ordered item in a designated Apple retail store and ship to a separate designated customer location in the same order as one transaction.

Key principles:

1.Buy once, in advance.

2.Immediate pick-up from store inventory.

3.Support orders with both ship to customer location (Ship-To-Home) and ship to retail (Ship-To-Store).

4.Add-on transactions (no impact online store functionality)

As a Tester, my responsibilities include:

• Involving in manual testing

• Preparing Test Cases and executing them.

• Raising efficient Bugs and verifying them and coordinating with

Developers.
