Conceptualize and implement the strategic plans for the transition from U.S. military provided security to civilian Diplomatic Security (DSS) operations in Afghanistan and Iraq in 2011. Direct and coordinate the current DSS security operations in both countries. Expertly manage Senior Foreign Service DSS agent supervisors, 140 DSS special agents, 135 security specialists, and over 5,000 security contractors and related equipment and weapon inventories. Develop and submit billion dollar budget requirements and defend the programs and related budgets to policymakers and Congress. Create innovative solutions to non-traditional security challenges in two war zones in support of U.S. foreign policy objectives in the region.

- Conceptualized and crafted the strategic security transition plans that directly support White House national security objectives in Iraq and Afghanistan
