Directed and led a team of 2 direct reports with a staff of 8 to obtain gross profit recovery by reconciling the aged vendor receivables. Implemented a program for correct filing of new rebate programs and developed a systematic tool for collection and reconciliation of the current and aged receivables. Decreased the gross profit liability of Avnet CMG. Provided P&L accountability.
• Reduced vendor receivables from $110M aged over 120 days to $0 aged over 90 days.
• Gross profit recovery of $22M obtained from the aged vendor receivables.

• Designed and implemented an access database (VERA) that electronically submitted claims to Avnet’s vendor’s and also automatically reconciled Avnet’s vendor receivables to reduce liability and increase gross profit recovery.
