Components worked on are switch gear, controllers, relays, PLC’s, circuit breakers, fuses, drive units, MCC’s and meters. Panels built to customer and standard specifications per drawing requirements. Utilize for modification and installation hand tools, test meter equipment, drills, sanders, saws, bending and threading machines. Electrical Inspector Leader ( Dec. 1977 – Feb. 1996 )
Precise in-process system completion, shop fabrication, inspected a wide variety of electrical / mechanical equipment components for nuclear navy submarines. Researched, scheduled, coordinated, remedied, documented, and directed inspections through working with various tradesmen, engineers, planners, technicians, project managers, and naval personnel. Audits, progress / status reports, record keeping , filing, processing, computer data input, and leading inspection personnel are among other duties performed.

Performed visual, pre-operational,and pre-test inspections of electrical and mechanical systems during ship overhauls. Wrote and submitted defect reports per process instructions, military standards, and system plan specifications.
