curriculum. Participants were required to pass the training before being allowed

to work in a facility. The curriculum consisted of training consultative selling skills

such as active listening, asking appropriate questions, and showing understanding.

Participants were trained through studying a manual and extensive role playing.

In addition to being trained to sell and close memberships, participants were also

trained in telephone sales and appointment setting. Also assisted human resources

by facilitating workshops on customer service, personal training sales, Bally’s Weight

Management System, and company policies and ethics.
