Project details:

Project Title: FE modeling of console parts of car.

• Tools Used: ANSA 13.0.5

• Description: A Finite Element model based on the customer supplied CAD data was needed. CAD Data of Cross Car Beam (CCB) assembly in IGES format was provided which required shell meshing according to the quality parameters defined by the customer. Plastic components of interiors were also considered in the process.

• Responsibility: Pre-processing.

Project Title: FE Meshing of Various BIW Parts.

• Description: The project involves FE modeling of Front Door Assembly with coarse and fine mesh at the critical regions.

• Produce complete FE models meshed in ANSA 13.0.5

• Meshing activities such as geometry clean up for meshing, check for Quality, checking Edges.

• Assigning thickness in ABACUS,NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, PAMCRASH, ANSYS.

• Integrating customer requirements and other factors to provide sound, feasible, quality FE design.
