I was heavily involved in the month end closing process and I managed fixed assets, CIP, intercompany accounts for several companies, various account reconciliations, royalty revenue and expense recognition, and deferred revenue. I participated in analyzing accrued revenue, forecasting, and deferred revenue schedules. Achievements

Successfully designed an Excel spreadsheet with embedded IF statements to allow various prepaid balances to distribute accordingly. This improved the management of prepaid accounts that run in excess of 1 million dollars.

Helped identify, monitor and reduce key expenses by assigning each department a “Point Person”. This provided managers with increased financial awareness to assist in decision making. We were able to provide ideas and alternatives for large and recurring expenses to achieve the best possible results for the company. This also eliminated redundant journal entries due to the team member’s familiarity with the individual departments.
