EDUCATION
Seattle University Ed.D. Educational Leadership 2008
Dissertation: “Self Renewal among Nurse Leaders as Justice Praxis.” The
study of self renewal as justice in nursing leadership had not been done using Heidegger’s hermeneutic phenomenological methodology at the time of this

examine the lived experience of nurse leaders. Arendt’s notion of natality
informed much of the research. (Primary Advisor: Dr. John Gardiner)
