Started this department in order to develop and implement a sales forecasting process Company wide.

SAP conversion team along with utilizing SAP for forecasting and planning.

Identified a methodology to incorporate a bottom up sales forecasting process with the field sales.

Identified and implemented new Cognos software, which allowed field sales reps to analyze sales via the internet and prepare analysis for key accounts daily.

By year two, the sales forecasting and budgeting process went from 79% accuracy rate to a 97% accuracy rate. Enabled the company to effectively match customer product demand with inventory supply. This ultimately drove inventory exposure down by 12%.

Initiated monthly financial review meetings with all divisional V.P.’s to ensure forecasting accuracy. This was integrated into our Product MRP system for ordering.

Restructured monthly closing process of financial statements, including SEC filings to ensure accuracy and credibility by integrating the current JD Edwards system.

Maximized and lead effort to utilize JD Edwards’s software applications as it related to the generation of financial information for use by management.
