Reservations Manager

To manage the effective operation of the reservations department to maximise rooms sales for the Hotel. Ensuring maximum revenue opportunities are achieved through the execution and maintenance of all sales strategies.

• To train, coach and motivate the Reservations team to ensure a pro-active revenue and sales culture at all times

• Team development by guiding and directing the Reservations and Front Office team to ensure the consistency of company standards, procedures and a high level of performance and service delivery with reservation enquiry handling

• To be aware of the rate structures at the Hotel and support the Revenue Manager with rate management on all distribution ensuring rate parity is achieved

• Managing all group business from enquiry to completion, including proposals, contracts, rate negotiation, site inspection and ensuring bill accuracy

• Supporting the reservations coordinator to ensure all enquiries responded to, rate checks complete and prepayments received

• Member of the Duty Management team ensuring total responsibility for the Hotel
