Dear Sir / Madam,
My objective is to find employment and be accepted by an employer for a position of managing and/or caretaking property in a rural or remote atmosphere where I can enjoy life by utilizing my experience in, risk management, and loss prevention, including but not limited to working with domestic animals as well as wildlife management. I will entertain any and all job offers.
In my previous youthful years I have gained experience and valuable knowledge in working with livestock, horses, parks & recreation, security, caretaking, trucking and equipment operations as well as motel management, and have no problem surviving in remote locations.
If you are looking for an honest, responsible self starter to manage, and/or make a security presence or caretaker at your operation and a jack of all trades, then I am your man. I will be up front with my credentials and experience so there will be no time wasted in guessing my qualifications, as I am a believer in being precise and to the point.
I am a healthy married man that has reached the national retirement age and currently working for a major oil and gas contractor in West Texas. If accepted for future employment with your organization, I will retire from my current employer and receive social security benefits plus a 401-K plan which I have been paying into for the past 16 years for retirement purposes. Therefore, any salary offered by you may be negotiable or minimal, depending on any offered benefits, such as insurance, beef, staples, etc.
The majority of work with my current employer mainly consists of working with farmers and ranchers in negotiating right of ways, contracts, risk management, accounts payable, damage control, contracts, and settlements with land owners, investigations, human relations, and project management with ranchers and farmers, etc.
In September of 2006 I was promoted to the position of Loss Prevention Coordinator with my employer and currently maintain a highly responsible position. My duties and tasks include but is not limited to, the security of company assets, protection of lives and property, loss prevention, safety, risk management, claims investigations, project management, coordinating with multi-local, state, and federal agencies, permits, and contracts.
I grew up from a very young age on my father’s working cattle and horse ranch near Las Vegas New Mexico. I was married to my wife at the age of 18 and we have been married for 44 consecutive years. My wife is retired from the medical field; however, she maintains her nurse license for the State of Texas.
Even though I was introduced to wildlife habitat and livestock at a very young age and grew up on a remote mountain ranch, I graduated from high school at Roswell New Mexico and attended the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. I worked and eventually paid my own way through college to gain a formal education. I am a U.S .Air Force Veteran with an honorable discharge.
I have maintained and enjoyed as a hobby, working with wildlife, raising livestock, and training horses, throughout my life and currently enjoy training guard dogs and horses.
If there is any time left at the end of a days work, I like to end the evening by settling down to singing and playing some old fashion country music with my guitar.
My wife and I are not dependent on tobacco or alcohol. We are of the Christian Faith and maintain a high quality of moral character and spiritual sentiment. We believe that in order to receive undisputable certainty in receiving love, success, and happiness that one has to first give it. “What goes around comes around”.
Together with my formal education coupled with my farming and ranching background which includes but is not limited to, raising wildlife of different kinds, farming, ranching, working as a hunting guide and my love for wildlife as well as domestic animals, I feel that I would be an excellent candidate for any caretaking position which requires extreme responsibilities of a self starter possessing management experience and talents as well as being dependable and trustworthy.
I am eligible and ready to retire from my current job as soon as I can find the right opportunity that would allow me to share my knowledge and to continue to help others become successful in a rural, country, or remote atmosphere.
If you are interested in a highly responsible person of high moral character, and a basic knowledge of all around duties, please contact me for an interview with details and requirements. I am ready to retire from the oil & gas exploration business and go back to work doing what I love, ranching, property caretaking, and/or the outdoor life. I do own an R.V. travel trailer that I could use for housing if you do not provide such; however, I am flexible and can use any provided housing in rural areas or remote locations. I will have no problem in relocating.
