Inventory/Warehouse
In this position my duties were but not limited to inventory control for over 15,000 pre pulled or hanging parts in addition to over 800 complete vehicles stored in warehouse with an additional 1000-1200 vehicles in main storage yard. This position required receiving, inspecting, and moving merchandise to holding area, merchandise was they transported to inventory area. With the use of an hand held computer useable parts were designated and inventoried after which all information was down loaded to main frame for sales by counter personnel, internet, land line, or in person. Used computer to enter, access, or retrieve data, maintained accurate records, reports, or files. Conducted cycle counts of merchandise and location verification, any discrepancies found were immediately taken care of by either adding or deleting information from computer. Accurately select, inspect, and process UPS orders, accurately select, inspect, and process all non- UPS orders for freight transport or delivery. Ensure warehouse kept in an clean and orderly state, operate all warehouse equipment performing safety checks prior to first use of day, follow all safety procedures as set forth by company, state, federal, or local regulations.
