QA Testing Analyst May 2012- June 2012

Project description:

Hibbert group is a reputed company in the field of Printing, Fulfillments & Distribution of marketing material. The project was on iConnect application enhancement, i.e. to integrate E-Order and iConnect into a single platform allowing Sales Rep to order promotional, formulary and customized material into a shopping cart, and provide usability based enhancements. I was involved in testing this enhancement which is named as iConnect2 based on the requirement provided by client.

Responsibilities:

• Studied the iConnect -2012 Strategy document and iConnect Implementation guide.

• Studied the TRS & BRS documents i.e. IConnect – E-order SSO, Order to Customer Sales Rep Order process and Order Flow etc.

• Documented the Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Metrics

• Tested the data entry screens and transaction screens in iConnect

• Involved in manually testing the functionality of the Plan Data Files and Sales Rep Template creation

• Maintained the Bug Tracking and Reporting system.

Project Description:

The project is on Automated Banking Service Provider (ABSP). The ABSP system was implemented to migrate from the existing application to a more automated system. ABSP system will continue the banking services for Bank of America and will continue to fulfill all types requests to the end user customers for example Account creation, Account modification, Account deletion new Payees in Bill Pay. ABSP interfaced with SONAR, SORD SW, SORD W, and SORD EW that is each regional system to receive requests for accounting service, format the request into a summary report and submit to the respective account order provisioning (AOP) system.

I was involved in testing the implementation in ABSP mainly on the different phases of Account Creation Module

Responsibilities:

• Involved in study and analysis of the TRS, BRS and SRS documents

• Documented Test Strategies, Test Plans and Test Cases from above documents

• Performed Smoke, Functional, Integration, Stress and Regression testing for the application.

• Performed compatibility test between GUI functionality and the Web portal using multiple browsers such as Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, AOL and Mozilla on multi platforms and interpreted the positive and negative results.

Project Description:

AllState Insurance, based in Northbrook, Illinois, is one of the leading insurance companies in automobile, home and life insurance. The project is related to the Auto Insurance option on the online portal that offers various conveniences like Quick Quote and Full Auto Quote to the customers, which enables them to customize their auto insurance plan. I was involved in testing the front-end and back-end of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in review of the functional requirement document for developing test plans and test cases.

• Analyzed web applications, documented detail test plans, test cases and expected results based on the business functional requirements

• Conducted walkthroughs with the team reviewing the test plans and test cases for base lining the test plan using the Agile Methodology.

• Formulated UAT test plan and test cases in HP QC as per the project milestones.

• Utilized appropriate tools to manage test processes, validate results, and perform various levels of testing with HP QC.

• Performed manual testing executing all the test cases in QC 9.2.

A new website was designed by PharMerica to provide information to the members and clients on different functions i.e. health care information, prescription drugs and order/refill/check status. My role was of a QA tester to test the website.
