I have 28 years in the Construction Industry including Commercial, Heavy Industrial, Fossil Power and Petro Chemical and Polymers Modifications involving Heavy Lifts, Crane Selections, Steel Erection, Crane Assembly and Inspection, Civil, Piping as well as Mechanical Equipment. I have experience in Critical Lift Planning as well as Executing with input on Practical Design and Capabilities. I have certification in Mobile Crane and Rigging Inspection as well as rigging operations. I have certification in OSHA’s 30-hour Construction Safety and OSHA’s 10-hour General Industry. I have experience with Mobile Cranes as well as Floating Cranes and Mobile Cranes on Barges. I am familiar with all of ASME B30 Lifting and Rigging Standards as well as OSHA Regulations including the New Crane Standard along with USAC of Engineers EM-385. 1 have a full line of construction management experience. 06/2009 - Present
Construction Field Manager / Assistant Project Rigging Specialist, Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., Federal, New Orleans, Louisiana
I was responsible for managing various phases of the construction project on the largest civil works projects led by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. I assumed the role as night shift construction manager reviewing submittal’s for comments in addition to observing the contractors monitoring safety, quality, schedule and production. Assuring the contractors are following all policies, procedures as well as all specifications as required. As one of the project rigging specialist I was responsible for reviewing critical lift plans as well as observing critical lifts and observing all other rigging and lifting operations as well as crane operations and inspections to see that the contractors are complying with all ASME standards, Government Regulations and the USAC of Engineers EM 385-1-1 as well as Shaw’s INHC-CN004-1 policies and procedures on the following features of work.

South Vehicle Access ramp
I was responsible for the construction of the south vehicle access ramp which consists of driving H-pile, placing concrete for the footings, columns, bent caps, deck spans and barrier rails. We also placed scour stone on both the flood and protected sides of T-wall which was R1000, R130 and 55 stone. The was additional work added that consists of driving sheet pile, pipe pile placing a cap on the wall as well as installing composite timbers.

Scour Stone Placement
I was responsible for the placement of the scour stone on the protected side of the main floodwall which included 98,141 tons of R1000, 22,000 tons of R1300, 56,600 of quarry run and 15,547 of bedding stone. All this stone was placed under water and was monitored for lines and grade by the use of Hypac surveys as well as side scan sonor that were plotted on cross sections for review.

Sector Gate Install
As the night shift construction manager I was responsible for the install of the coffer cell, the placement of 10,000 yard tremie placement, the leveling pads placement, base slab placements as well as the monolithic placements for the main gate structure monitoring the contractor for safety, quality schedule and production as well as see that all specification are being followed. I was involved in the off load of the sector gates which were 600 tons each. These lifts were made from barges with the use of a 4600 ringer on a barge and a derrick crane barge. They were sat in the water and floated in place then sank on the pintle’s with ballast tanks. We then erected the bridges and walkways for access to the flood wall.

Night Shift Project Rigging Specialist
I was responsible for reviewing critical lift plans as well as attending critical lifts assuring that the contractors were executing the lift as planned. I also routinely observed all site lifting and rigging activities including crane operations and inspection assuring that the contractors were complying with all ASME B30 standards, OSHA’s regulations including the new crane standard as well as USACE’s EM -385-1-1-1 and Shaw’s lifting and rigging policies and procedures.
Accomplishments:
While on the IHNC project. I received certification in crane inspection, rigging inspection, took the NCCCO written exam’s, OSHA's 10 hour general industry, OSHA's 30 construction safety. I had hired in as a rigging specialist but proved to have construction manager qualities and was moved into management over the night shift sector gate install, the scour stone placement as well as the south vehicle access ramp.

Rigging General Foreman, Becon Construction, Power, Bedford, Kentucky
I was responsible for the pre planning and execution of all light, medium, heavy and critical lifts at LG&E’s 750 MW coal burning power plant upgrade. I worked with the rigging engineering on the practical side of the planning for lifts requiring a lift plan as well as verified that they were executed as planned. I supervised the barge off loading as well as coordinated all the heavy hauls throughout the plant to the lift site where we had previously set up the super lift crane with super lift tray attachments. I also supervised all crane reconfigurations to a 2800 Demag, 2600 Demag, 8500 Demag, Manitiwoc 4100S2, 4100S3, 3900, 2500 Kobelco and Manitiwoc 14,000 and the LR 1400 Liehberr. I was responsible for all rigging that was purchased as well as keeping up with inspections and distribution to other disciplines. I had overall site responsibility for all rigging and lifting operations
Accomplishments:
While working for Becon I hired in as structural raising gang foreman and was moved up to rigging general foreman after 4 months. Then I was moved up to senior rigging general foreman.

I was responsible for the erection of structural steel, Heavy Lift Crane assembly and reconfiguring, rigging and setting of all heavy equipment on the turbine building with the use of a Manitiwoc 4100S2 with 200’ of main boom and 30’ of fixed job with a 30 degree offset and a 2600 Demag with 60 meters of main boom and 40 meters of luffing jib on LGE & E’s 750 MW coal burning power plant upgrade.

I was responsible for the erection of the blending tanks and all associated civil, structural steel, piping and mechanical equipment. I preplanned and designed the lift plan to prevent the bending or misalignment of the flanges on the agitator shaft.

My responsibilities included all activities associated with a scheduled outage to replace a 65 ton heat exchanger.
