SCHOOL PROJECTS
Senior Project: • Designed and implemented embedded, wireless and PC controlled surveillance robot that integrates motion sensors, servos, Zigbee modules, motors and microcontrollers programmed in C language and LabView as main GUI interface. As a result our team received the National Innovation and Impact award for best project idea.
Other Projects:
• Programmed microcontroller in C to control DC motors, sensors, PWM, including opto-oscillators, op-amps an HBridge, and other circuitry design.
• Programmed PLC to control traffic lights by automatic time intervals or direct signal control using HMI panel over Ethernet connection.
• Implemented control system using pressure sensor, current sensor and relay to allow full control over the air compressor through PLC/HMI and LabView.
• Develop LabView thermostat program to control AC unit temperature using relays, resistors and fans for AC cooling and heating simulation.
•Create LabView program to monitor water tank pressure and be able to calculate total tank volume and height using the data acquisition and a wired 4-20mA current loop sensor.
SOFTWARE SKILLS:
• Proficient with Labview, C and C++, Ladder logic programming, RSLogix500, Windows Xp-Windows 7, MS-Office suite (Excel, PP, Word), Visio, Corel Draw, CodeWarrior, DOS
