Interpreting blue prints, technical drawings, codes, technical manuals, and symbols, also producing technical drawings to perform various types of welding (SMAW, GMAW, OAW, GTAW, TB, INS, TS), cutting (PAC, OFC-A, OLC), fabrication, machining, layout and VT inspection of ferrous and non ferrous alloys & steels for parts, assemblies, vehicles, structures, machines & equipment etc. In support of militaries involved with operation enduring freedom in Afghanistan. This position included Interoperating blue prints, drawings, symbols, codes, and customer specifications as well as performing structural welding (GMAW, FCAW-G, SW), cutting (OFC-P, PAC, CAC-A), Fabrication, layout, machining, and VT inspection. These duties were In accordance with the D1.1 code steel, customer specifications, company QC standards, and AISC for quality production. To ensure safety in the workplace ANSI Z49.1, OSHA code of federal regulations, and company safety standards were implemented. Other duties were Communicating with AWS CWI’s & the shop foreman upon discovering errors, completing corrections to errors including repairs to welds & fabrications, modification of fabrications & welds upon alteration of engineered, designs, blue prints or drawings. This professional workmanship produced hospitals, schools, arenas, airports and a great deal more.

When engaged with Troy tech I had performed welding (GMAW, GTAW), and Machine operating for vehicle production in the automotive industry while working together with apart companies. This was performed in accordance with OSHA code of federal regulations, companies’ safety standards, and ANSI Z49.1 to ensure safety. All work performed was also in accordance with companies’ QC standards & policies, customer specifications, and codes (D1.1 steel, D1.2 aluminum) as applicable to ensure quality.

Other responsibilities included communicating with the foreman & engineer upon discovering errors such as dimensions in prints or designs that would not counterpart with assemblies, parts, or fabrications if completed to initial dimensions. This would be then corrected completing a loop of quality and cost efficient production. This occupation was performed in accordance with ANSI Z49.1, OSHA Code of Federal Regulations, and company standards & policies to ensure safety. The D1.1 code steel and company QC standards/specifications were also implemented to ensure quality of the company’s products.
