Brought on board based on industry reputation to provide strategic direction and manage inventory planning process for all stocked inventory (13,000 SKUs) across 11 domestic and international regional distribution centers involving precise coordination with 700 suppliers at 37,000 stocking locations. Developed processes and oversaw forecasting with sales and operations to facilitate collaboration between hotel buying groups, suppliers and hotel properties. Provided leadership to team of 15 planners with day-to-day buying responsibility for PO’s, inbound shipments and managing supplier lead-time. Managed demand forecasting team of three to ensure forecasting accuracy across all stocked items. Established, maintained, and assessed inventory planning KPI’s for 11 distribution centers using history, sales plans, vendor criteria, and market trends.
