• Responsible for the Accounting functions of twelve facilities part of the Bodycote Thermal Processing group located in North America. Responsibilities included: month-end processing, preparing annual business plan and operating budget of 60 million with sales of 66 million, inventory cost accounting, cost analysis, internal audit, review of ledger account reconciliations and bank reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Developed a forecast tool for the facilities to accurately provide an estimate of their financials for the month and aided the facilities in understanding their ability to monitor and control cost.
• Provided financial analysis of major capital projects for the twelve facilities to determine payback and return on capital employed.
• Integrated a previously privately owned facility into the financials of Bodycote upon acquisition and integrated Bodycote policies into the newly acquired facility.
• Transitioned the Canada payroll to ADP and managed the Payroll for the Canada facilities.

• Coordinate month-end close for location, prepare journal entries, ensure data is properly updated, and analyze financials for accuracy. Reported and led the monthly balanced scorecard meeting to communicate scores and discuss opportunities to improve the score.
• Develop yearly budget of nine million dollars for location and forecast monthly spending for manufacturing facility within an average accuracy of five percent. Analyze costs during the month to ensure costs are consistent with forecast.

• Ensure inventory controls are in place and proper protocols are followed. Implemented a scan procedure for physical inventory at manufacturing facility, which resulted in $40,000 reduction in hourly cost and increased production of 1200 tons.
• Handle HR functions at the facility for the hourly employees. Researched HR laws to ensure procedures and HR files were properly maintained for an OFCCP audit.
• Lead Auditor for ISO 9001. Work with management staff to ensure quality procedures are in compliance with ISO 9001 standards and lead the audits to ensure quality procedures are followed at facility.
