• Extensive laboratory test on five different soils to evaluate the input parameters to be used in new Mechanistic Empirical Pavement Design Guidelines (MEPDG) and AASTHO-1993 for design of new and/or existing roads (to be rehabilitated) for Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD).

• Investigating the applicability of various soil stabilization techniques (soil mixing, vibro-compaction etc.) to the existing weak soils and performing related laboratory tests.

• Design of MSE walls with steel or with geo-grid reinforcement following the FHWA design guidelines.

• Analyzed battered pile foundation in I-10 twin span bridge by using the load test data and FB-Multipier software
