1999-2006 Chicago Title Company-New Communities – San Diego CA

Escrow Officer

I managed a busy builder unit that processed new homes for some of the major builders in San Diego. I have had accounts for Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes, Fieldstone Communities, John Laing Homes, among others, which build SFR and I have closed out several hi-rises downtown San Diego including Treo, The Metropolitan, Pinnacle, La Vita and Alicante. I closed half of the Crescent Heights account with over 1,200 condominium conversions at Verano and Villa Vicenza. I was also at the disposal of the builder to help train their sales people in regards to completing the sales contract and attended their DRE meetings to assure an adequate flow from the beginning of the process to the actual closings. During my tenure as a new community escrow officer I also processed resale escrows, some commercial, land acquisitions and those “flip” escrows that now have had strong restrictions attached to them including management approval.

1997-1999 Ticor Title Company – Libertyville, IL

Closer for builder/refinance/resale transactions

Closers in Illinois as my self, process the round table closing with the Seller/Buyer, Lender, Real Estate Attorney at the table. The process consisted of accommodating the signing of loan documents to balancing the funds from all parties and disbursing the funds to the principals at the table. I was in charge of the office during the absence of the manager and assisted in managing personnel, daily office supply, machine operation, etc.

1994-1996 National Bank – Tokyo, Japan

Branch Manager

I started at the bank as a customer service representative and then transferred to assist the Human Resource Manager. I eventually transferred back to a small bank branch on Yokota AFB as a branch manager with three tellers and one customer service representative that I managed and kept the vault as well with currency in dollar and yen.

1993-1994 Rancho Santa Fe Escrow – Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Escrow Officer

Although I was only with Rancho Santa Fe Escrow for just a year, I managed to establish myself as a resale escrow officer and pursued and won the business of the local agents. I was sorry to leave after putting so much effort establishing myself in such a difficult community to have to leave due to a spousal job transfer, but the efforts were rewarding.

1988-1993 Westland Title Company – Oceanside, CA

Escrow Officer

I managed a builder/refinance/resale unit. The desk consisted of a small local builder and some resale and eventually was kept very busy with refinances during the refinance boom.
