SDO Furniture Delivery/Installations Supervisor, Chicago and Suburbs
Responsibilities included managing and motivating the team through the Staples acquisition of Prime Office Products. Managed all furniture and office products delivery operations to both Prime Office Products and Staples customers during the acquisition period of August 2005 through June 2006. (Staples acquired Prime Office Products in 2005.) Managed 150+ furniture delivery/installations per week including routing and scheduling to accommodate customer requirements and achieve key metrics for on time delivery. Managed a distribution team, 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse, and provided professional and quality service. Led training for all associates for safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Reviewed general ledger, managed P&L and budgets to maintain expenses, along with daily reporting functions. Consistently met or exceeded goals for service metrics. Managed fleet of 4 straight trucks, Maintenance, Safety reporting and DOT specifications. Worked with 3PO’s and LTL to cover overflow.

• Played a key role in implementing new furniture delivery and installation process including training associates and monitoring customer satisfaction levels

Assisted with customer service issues and problem solving. Managed warehouse operations, 2 shifts totaling 8 employees. Managed distribution for approximately 350 orders of product per day with 6 drivers to customers in the city and loop from the Chicago warehouse and 7 drivers in the suburbs from a regional cross dock. Managed a fleet of 9 truck/vans.

Purchasing / Operations Manager
Responsibilities included managing all office and warehouse operations as well as all aspects of purchasing, inventory control, implementing business process changes, training and operation of systems. Attended Industry Trade Shows and Business Seminars. Accomplishments:
• Set up and enhanced strategic relationships with vendors and wholesalers
