Problem:

• There exists different job streams to be load raw data into ODS (Operational Data Store) and EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) at different schedule periods viz., (daily, weekly and monthly). During the load period if any error occurs there is no immediate notification of error/ problem occurred.

• ETL job processing time is longer for EDW and potential HTTP errors for ODS.

• The processed log files should be stored to identify all the duplicate SSN employee records. Moreover, the existing solution doesn’t include all of the existing business requirements, for which they follow manual process for many of the items.

• Doesn’t include solution for all different transactions.

Solution:

• Integrated scalable solution for all Five Source Payroll Systems

• Provided solution to handle huge volume of data efficiently and in timely manner

• Provided automated archiving of data

• Provided auto load Data warehouse tables as soon as data is populated on to ODS

Implemented an automated validation process to identify transactions with errors from those without and removes manual review of a file by BOM

• Implemented an eInsight Solution with Human Workflow and worked exclusively on designing the Business Processes
