Oversee 3 Departments within the facility which include production packing lines; HAACP related cooking and chilling operations, and shipping department. I am responsible for 25 hourly employees in a nonunion environment.

Production Supervisor:
As a production supervisor I was responsible for the safety of approximately 45 employees in a high speed packaging department. While overseeing this department I increased performance results by over 3.5% in 2009 versus 2008. My proudest accomplishment was that my shift had 0 recordable injuries in 2009.

As crew leader I was responsible for overseeing the daily production activities of approximately 100 employees in a union environment. I made staffing adjustments to production lines based on absenteeism and production needs. I worked with maintenance personnel in minimizing downtime to packaging lines.

As production control manager one of the things I accomplished was to Redefined the warehouse which established control of inventory by those personnel. Introduced a picking and kitting system for shop floor workstations for more accurate and efficient distribution of materials. Part of my duties was to work with outside vendors for delivery of supplied sub-component parts.

I coordinated the successful installation of data collection workstations on the shop floor. As project manager I trained production supervisors, human resources personnel, staff, and a core group of hourly employees on data collection functions.
Production Supervisor:
In this position I oversaw a department consisting of five production lines with a total of approximately 75 hourly employees in a union environment.
Production Employee:
As an hourly employee I operated a variety of automated and manually operated production machinery.
