• Performed Asphalt, Aggregate and Expanding laboratory tests according to LOS standards including MRD, Extraction, BRD, Marshal, Superpave, Gradation, SG, and Proctor

Senior Pavement Engineer, Ramp Company, Iran 2009 –2011

• Recommended the most cost-effective strategy for maintaining a highway by analyzing pavement distresses, pavement cores, IRI, FWD and GPR data

• Designed new pavement for a freeway and cold in-place recycling and asphalt overlay for a two-lane highway rehabilitation according to AASHTO standard

• Conducted regular field inspection to check contractor’s work for compliance with specifications

• Controlled progress billing submitted by the contractor to determine conformity with the actual accomplished work in two highway projects

• Performed economic feasibility studies for three proposed bypass highways by calculating benefits and costs and using net present value (NPV) method
