The Lord has called me to Pastor for over 11 years and to hold the office as a preacher for a total of 14 years. God has blessed me with one wife for 29 years and counting and two lovely daughters that also work and support me in ministry. My wife and I are owners of Community Reach Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provide youth programs and free tutoring for at-risk students in a number of states through out the US. I would like to use my Pastoral and life experience to assist parents and children in their spiritual needs to incurrage continued spiritual growth.

I look forward to being apart of the great work that all of you are doing.

Rev. Geffry Tate, born May 1959, a native of Erie Pennsylvania. I am the husband of Rose Sharon Tate; we have been married for over 29 years. We have two daughters, Teria age 26; she currently holds a Master Degree in Public Health and seeks to start Medical School in the fall. Chancie a twelfth grade high school student, she is preparing to start her first year of college in September.

I received Christ as Lord God and Savior at the age of 9. I graduated from Erie Academy, continued my studies in college in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, attended and completed a number of ministerial courses, classes and workshops. I am currently matriculated in Theology school to pursue a Masters in Theology. Among the many achievements God has allowed me, my family and I started a youth community choir called Kingdom Kids in our home over 17 years ago. Because of my family’s dedication, thousands of young people gave their life to the Lord through this work. Dedication and commitment to the youth moved the Lord to allow a great work to birth out of that ministry such as Community Reach Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization Community Reach provides youth programs and have contracts with the Federal Government to Tutor students under the Title 1 Act, these students attend Needs Improvement Schools in a number of States across the Country.

I acknowledged God’s calling to preach in 1996 and to work in the office of Evangelism. During this time, I was blessed to serve as one of the Ministers at First Victory Baptist Church; the Pastor is Dr. Henry Mason. Years later I served as one of the Pastors of One Accord Church of God In Christ, the Pastor, Bishop T. A. Body. I evangelized around the country for a number of years before I was called to assist the Pastor at Liberty Baptist Church. Not long after that the Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church resigned from his office and I accepted the office of Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in 2003. Later Liberty Baptist was renamed Community Reach Ministries (CRM) and the ministry moved to Riverdale Georgia where I am currently the Senior Pastor. During my serving at CRM the Lord have moved mightily and allowed Thousands of lives to change and receive spiritual growth through teaching and preaching. CRM as part of our missions work sponsors an Annual Toy Give A-Way, Academic Essay Contest and Easter Celebration for needy youths and families of Clayton County and surrounding areas. I am very active in the community volunteering in various organizations and initiatives. I formerly served as treasurer and one of the organizers and founders of the Clayton County Marriage Initiative. I serve on the board of directors at Pointe South Middle School and Harper Elementary School also in Clayton County. In addition I’m a partner in education with Clayton County Schools. I serve as a board member of Clayton County Association of Ministers, member of Georgia Christian Counselors Association, CLT Fellowship Churches, and Gospel Tabernacle Fellowship of Churches. I serve and provide counseling to many groups and community organizations.

RESUME OF REVEREND GEFFRY TATE

OBJECTIVE: I am a Minister of God that was called into the Ministry 14 years ago with over 11 years of Pastoral experience. My objective is to lead God’s Church toward continued spiritual growth and serve as a model husband and father, a model leader in worship, evangelism, discipleship, stewardship, missions and ministry.
