Responsible for all “Brownfield” construction, maintenance and erection activities for a new wind energy services manufacturing process facility. Assembled an on site organization to manage the Logistics, Quality, Facilities and Production in addition to a Wind Turbine Blade removal and installation activities at remote Wind Energy power plants.

Accomplishments

• Recruited and hired a world class leadership team to manage the entirety of all construction, production logistics and installation activities.

• Improved the supply chain performance of the site 3PL by educating them on supply chain material flow techniques related to the sites requirements.

• Developed Key Point Indicators for manufacturing, enabling the effective improvement of wind turbine blade repair efficiencies.

• Working with a 3rd party production organization, improved the quality of the staff knowledge resulting in higher plant outputs.

Responsible for developing a “Greenfield” Wind Central Warehouse Program on time and on budget.

o Located warehouse, hired staff, developed and standardized material locating system and shelving for the wind fleet central distribution center.

o Inventory was available 24/7 to ensure turbine reliability.

o Rebuilt or repaired material for inventory which provided cost savings to internal customers.

o Managed the day to day inventory for the wind fleet, covering nine states

o Conducted inventory audits quarterly thereby assuring Sarbanes - Oxley compliance.

o Resolved warranty claim issues between internal customers and suppliers.
