Responsible for assigned products reliability and quality and safety related aspects during the research & development (R&D) process. Ensured the product meets reliability and quality requirements.

• Developed and managed reliability test plans for assigned products. Including design test method, test stresses, test time, sample size, test result record and failure mode analysis.

• Developed and implemented reliability tests: ALT (Accelerated Life Test); HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test); TST (Thermal Shock Test) and ADT (Accelerated Degradation Test) and THB (Thermal Humidity Bias Test) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screen). The test stresses included: thermal stress, power stress, relative humidity and vibration.

• Developed reliability analysis models to estimate reliability, MTBF (Mean Life Between Failure) and failure rate based on test data and warranty data for all products. Use statistics method such as DOE (Design of Experiment) to improve and optimize product design.

• Performed DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effective Analysis), RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to improve product design. Used scientific system method to solve problems. Built reliability growth program.

• Defined the reliability test procedures and quality control procedures.

• Used Weibull++, ITEM, Relex2011, Minitab, Mathcad and BLOCKSIM etc. software to analyze product reliability.
