Senior Quality Control Technician

· Responsible for carrying out all in process inspections of product pre sterilization and completing necessary documentation to report observations per various specifications and sampling plan.

· Performs all package testing for products using an “Instron” for peel testing pouched and related items

· Assist in re-boxing re labeling of returned goods on an as needed basis

· Assists in evaluating incoming components visual as well as dimensional

· Assists in conducting finished good testing of grafts and mesh components using “Instrons” and other fixtures for testing

· Assisting with making sure all “Hot” Items are prepared and read for use by production team or on manufacturing floor

· Light Data Entry; Example, Monthly Charts for rejected parts “in house” for learning purposes and rebuild or repair purposes to build better product.

· Filing all reports, ensuring all updates made on as needed bases; record-keeping.

· Random inspections of products using the DHR's

· Cross-Training, helping where needed.

· Performance of New Employee Orientations/Training.

· Provided general support to Regulatory Affairs, Sales and Marketing, Purchasing,

· Tools used: Instron, calipers, micrometer, ruler, “SmartScope”, Laser Mic, height gage, pins, burst testers, microscope, and electric pallet jack.

1988-2007 Was employed with Burlington coat factory. Full time and seasonal help

threw the holidays.

Responsible for working in the stock room, sales in the baby depot department, putting out new merchandise and doing plan-o-grams, cleaning and working with customers. In the earlier years I helped out a few stores go from nothing to grand opens. I had a great time doing this.
