SUMMARY

I have extensive experience in the field of piping design, construction, and supervision in the field of petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical industry which includes, FEED planning layouts and project plot plan development. Also includes designing modular units (Skids), offshore platforms (4 Years at Brown & Root designing high pressure piping systems and construction for production and compressor platforms), marine facilities, pipeline, compressor stations and pharmaceuticals. Seven years working overseas designing piping systems, field piping engineer, piping fab shop coordinator and supervising engineering and construction subcontractors in Nigeria, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Venezuela, and Aruba. All the offsite pipe racks (20 modules), storage tank area (7 tanks), storage tank pumps (1 module with seven pumps the other with two pumps), high pressure and low pressure dearators (1 module), boiler feed water pumps (1 module with six pumps and condensate KO drum, boiler (1 module), crude unit (3 modules), hydrotreater unit (3 modules), hydrocracker unit (4 modules), instrument air dryer and KO drums (1 module), plus 2 other modules pertaining to the gas to liquids process. Principle Piping Designer: Responsibility included designing piping systems for the projects as shown. This included checking of piping plans, sections and isometerics. Also resolved engineering and construction errors, client modifications, and new field design projects. Used computer systems PDS, autocad, and rebis.

Field Piping Engineer/Mechanical Subcontract Administrator: Responsibility included coordinating activities with Pellerin the construction mechanical subcontractor for equipment installation, pipe fabrication and erection, painting, prepared pre hydro-test punch list, witness hydro-test and sign offs with Witco. Resolved engineering and vendor design errors, modifications to existing equipment, field walk downs with Witco personal, and others. This was on the Witco project at Taft.

Engineering Subcontract Administrator: Responsibility included coordinating all piping interface with Matrix Engineering and Fluor. This was mainly tie-ins and pipe racks. Project was in Houston.

Engineering Subcontract Administrator: Responsibility included coordinating all piping interface with Wink INC. Pellerin subcontracted Wink to draw all the isometrics for pipe spool fabrication. I maintained the isometric priority list, answered question pertaining to vendor or piping drawings and resolved design error.

Fab Shop Coordinator: VENEZUELA: Maraven Refinery Expansion Cordon, Venezuela. ($1.3B) Responsibilities included piping layout design and checking. Other responsibilities included Piping Fab Shop Coordinator at DSD in Port Ordiza ( Fabricated 5000 spools) and Shaw South America in Maracibo ( Fabricated 8000 spools). Coordinated engineering and shop activities pertaining to changes on isometrics and shop spool drawing. Resolved all errors found by shop fabricator, quality audited spool drawings for dimensional and material errors, assisted shop inspectors with engineering and technical questions, coordinated spool priority list, expedited shop and field for spools and materials, reported current status on any spools requiring revisions from the home office, and issued a weekly progress report.
