Senior / Middle level Project HSE management position in the onshore & offshore oil & gas development industry. An accomplished cross-functional Health Safety & Environment / Risk professional with a diverse portfolio of managerial and practical experience, combined with relevant tertiary qualifications. I am a highly experienced Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist with years of practical application in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments, i.e. Fabrication Yards and Shipyards Yards. On Projects, i.e. vessel constructions, upgrades and conversions, civil and marine construction and completion experience worldwide and able to assist in HSEQ compliance to local, national and international code, standards and legislation.
Experienced risk analyst, capable of anticipating, identifying risks and opportunities to project delivery. Liaise and monitor EPCI contractors to ensure proper risk management and to capture those risks that constitute a wider risk in the project. To provide technical expertise in reviewing incident reports, shutdown reports, technical queries, deviation request, participate in the improvement of company safety standard and performance, including follow-up of experience feedback and HSE campaigns.
Assess risks using tools of a complexity that commensurate with the scale of the risk. Liaise with Third Party Contractor providing Risk Analysis, modeling, reporting, co-ordinate, administer and maintain the project risk register. Monitor risk through the life to the project to highlight high and growing risks. Communicate risks to the project management team and assist them in managing those risks.
Project's involvements have varied including onshore and offshore construction and completion, topside construction / modification, onshore & offshore pipeline and riser installations. Shallow-water pipe lay operations, jacket and topside/deck fabrication, onshore hookup, transportation and installation, offshore hook up and commissioning. Provide support to the offshore units and offices in HSEQ-related queries.
Responsible in developing and maintaining relevant project procedures, i.e. HSE, ERP, Waste Management Plan, etc. Conduct HSES studies such as Safety Assessments/Audits, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, Risk Management as well as conducting HSEQ audits on units and offices and follow-up of nonconformities.
Experience working in the remote tropical forest, jungle and desert locations throughout Southeast Asia, North & West Africa, Middle East, South America, and on the high seas of the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean and North, Southeast Asia, off the coast of Vung Tau, Vietnam and Natuna, Indonesia. Sea and recently completed an FPSO for Noble Energy, involvement starts from the vessel’s conversion (VLCC), topsides fabrication, hook up and commissioning, installation to sail away. All has been safely accomplished.

On board, DLB801, projects in the Caribbean, BHP Billiton Angostura Project, The development consists of three satellite wellhead protector platforms (WPPs) that will be connected via flow lines to a steel jacket central production platform (CPP). The commercialization of the gas resource is expected to occur as the second phase, Phase 1 infrastructure with secondary field enhancements. Pipelines, water injection and crude oil pipeline project, which consists of 35 kilometers of 30” pipeline with 14 lateral lines of various sizes and 2.5 kilometers of supported land pipelines. At present, my responsibilities cover the safety of the entire project numbering 1035 personnel both on and offshore. On board, the Acergy Piper (LB200) in the North Sea projects like; Eldfisk 24inch Oil Pipeline Replacement. Responsible for the safe installation of the approx: 9. 4km of the replacement 24” oil line, and of course, the famous Langeled Project the world’s longest pipeline (Discovery Channel’s Building the Biggest) we succeeded in gently laying no less than 1200 kilometers of pipeline along the bottom of the North Sea UK and the Norwegian Sector.
