Project/Program Manager Legal Affairs and HR Systems

• Manage Legal Affairs projects to include: Matter Management, Code of Business Conduct, Legal KnowledgeCentre, Legal Affairs Service Center and Legal Hold with a global team of developers. Providing the business client with immediate response to problems.

• Developed an eDiscovery process by creating an interim solution for search and collecting electronic data over the EDS network replacing the manual process used in the past.

• Reduced the twelve servers spread over three locations that support EDS Legal to two virtual servers reducing the server and maintenance cost by 70%.

• Managed budgets for all projects to support the CIO objective of + or – 3% of projected.

MBNA, now Bank of America (contractor), Dallas, TX 2001-2005

MBNA was the largest independent issuer of MC, Visa, and AMEX Credit Cards in the U.S.

Project Manager/Coordinator

• Managed the American Express North America and Europe implementations for all Risk Management Application Systems (Fraud, Scoring, Collections, and Recovery) allowing MBNA to be the first credit card processor besides AMEX to issue their card in the U.S.

• Managed the effort to internationalize dates on reports and screens giving the worldwide users dates in the format they were accustomed to, especially the European users.

• Reduced the time to report completed tasks to upper management during implementation by developing a standard implementation process.

Xybernaut sells and supports a Project Management Tool called OXP2. This tool is used for very large projects supporting over 20,000 tasks.

EDS – E Solutions, Plano, TX 1998-2000

E Solutions was the consulting arm of EDS specializing in the Y2K project and supporting projects through out the company.

• Responsible for Year 2000 assessments at several state agencies providing the observations in a report that was used by the agency to correct any potential failures before the date changed to 2000.

• Manage the Y2K process of gathering components; renovating the code; writing Unit, System, Future Date and Integration Test Cases; and conducting Walk Through for User sign-off. The client was not impacted with any Y2K failures.

• Wrote a Project Management Methodology for a local (Dallas) Internet Service Provider.

Experian, Inc., Allen, TX 1995-1998

Started at Experian with a consulting company, CUTTER/WILLIAMS, converted to a full time Experian person. Experian is a Credit Service Provider.

• Responsible for Management and Project Management for building an Automobile Information System. Provide a service that Experian could sell to any person inquiring about a vehicle Title or Registration.

• Manage a team of 8 to 22 programmers and Quality Assurance personnel.

CARE Systems Corporation, Dallas, TX 1993-1995

Develop and sales of a workers’ compensation software for clients that manage their workers’ compensation claim in house.

• Responsible for implementation of CARE Systems workers’ compensations software at a major client site in Florida.

• Established a Third Party Administrator environment that provides claims adjustment, medical management and processing for over 9,000 claims yearly. Reduce the processing cost to the client by 40% over the previous method.
