CONDUCTANCE MPPT METHOD USING CUK CONVERTER”.

Description:

PV Module Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) is a photovoltaic system that uses the photovoltaic array as a source of electrical power supply. Every photovoltaic (PV) array has an optimum operating point, called the maximum power point, which varies depending on cell temperature, the insolation level and array voltage. The function of MPPT is needed to operate the PV array at its maximum power point.

The general model was implemented on Mat lab, and accepts irradiance and temperature as variable parameters and outputs the I-V characteristic and P-V characteristic

B. Tech Project Details:

Title “420 KV SF6 CIRCUIT BREAKER OPERATIONS AND TESTING”.

Description:

The operation of 420kv SF6 circuit breaker is explained in detail. The various routine tests recommended by IEC 62271-100 standard is described and the results of the test are compared with the specified values.

It deals with the basic introduction to a circuit breaker, types of circuit breakers, the properties and advantages of SF6 circuit breakers, its disadvantages, technical data, and constructional features of the breaker in which various parts of the circuit breaker are explained. It also deals with the basic working principle, arc phenomenon, arc extinction and modes of operation of 420kv SF6 circuit breaker.
