Worked as a Lecturer and Design Instructor in Mechanical Engineering Department of Chameli Devi Institute of Technology and Management, taught engineering undergraduates (Sep/2007-Aug/2010), and also as the head of renewable energy club, promoting the events for the use of renewable source of energy.

Subjects taught: FluidMechanics,Theory of Machines,Mechanical Engineering, Drawing,Engineering Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Operational Performance Analysis of AIRBUS A380

Determination of flight performance characteristics of A380 using MATLAB programming and computational analysis using predetermined set of Aircraft and Atmospheric data. The project involved developing a program for the atmospheric model to a range of 50000 ft, calculation of various flight operational parameters for three different altitudes, and comparing the results obtained. With regards to takeoff and landing performance analysis, function and efficiency using C, MATLAB and Simulink. Simulation was made to understand the performance in real time and compare the results obtained with already available.

Design Of Gas Turbine Engine

Carried out the design process, analysis and optimization for the High Pressure Turbine (HPT) and High Pressure Compressor (HPC); through detailed calculation and trade off study. Catia V5 was used to design the blade and impeller of the compressors and turbines. MATLAB was used to develop programs for the blade specification and the number of blades, so that the total cost estimate for manufacturing and maintenance of the engine can be made. Depending upon the cost of material, overhaul cost etc. the choice of the most perfectly suitable material for engine was made.

Study of Heat Transfer Through Extended Surfaces

In this project I conducted a study about the heat transfer phenomena through extended surfaces for various fins. The results were obtained for two methods analytical method using one dimensional conduction and were compared with results obtained using numerical method FEA(Finite Elemental Analysis). The results were good agreement with experimental data. This study helped in the optimization of fins.

Design of HVAC system for a house

Design and performance analysis of a HVAC system for a small house of 900 sq. ft. The network of installation was designed using AUTOCAD and its efficiency was calculated, a program was written in C to see the effect of change of various variables on the overall performance of the system.

Study of cryogenics and its future prospects ; in a national level technical symposium Apogee 2006 at B.I.T.S Pilani and I.E.T DAVV Indore.

Study of Stirling Engine and its Industrial Prospects at S.G.S.I.T.S Indore in a national conference.

Represented school and university in Cricket tournament as Captain.
