• Supervised 6 multi-craft mechanics/electricians and one maintenance coordinator.
• On-call as needed to interface with outside consultants, contractors and vendors. Assist with troubleshooting of all electrical and mechanical equipment. Troubleshooting included the following but not limited to, all conveyors systems, lighting controls, Fire and access systems, low TDS water systems, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC related issues. All of the systems were involved in some way with the overall process. We maintained two 4 & 6 color high speed lithograph printing machines, Asitrade inline corrugating W/ inline laminator lines, (BOBST) box cutting machines, hot and cold glue lines and automated wrapping machines. All equipment was either German or Swiss manufacturing.
• Collaborated with other departments to plan all maintenance down day projects.
• Ability to anticipate or even adapt to changes in scheduling of equipment repair plans or even day to day operations.
• Maintained parts warehouse with accountability and accuracy exceeding 95% or better. Initiated and created warehouse from scratch, as well as a database for warehouse within the MP2 system. Maintained all PM (preventative maintenance) requisitions, created purchase and work orders in the MP2 system. This was the type of CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) that was implemented. This data base system and warehouse was developed from a large unorganized pile of mislabeled parts and equipment. Every item had to hand sorted and bar coded for identification.
• Responsible for creating new and performing all required preventative maintenance programs on all equipment. Electrical and Mechanical.
• Responsible for accurately defining the RCA’s (Root Cause Analysis) for any or all equipment breakdowns. Strategize solutions to improve equipment efficiency.
• Acting member of the Plant Safety Committee. Insure that all LOTO (lock-out, tag-out) procedures are followed and adhered to. Safety was the number one priority. Everyone went home to their families each and every day.

This facility was a zero discharge facility. Water was recycled and treated to keep conductivity to a minimum.
