Professional Experience:

2008-2011 – Geologist / Environmental Project Manager: DeLisle Asociates LTD, Portage, Michigan.

Project management, oversight, and completion of Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, Baseline Environmental Site Assessments (BEAs), environmental compliance analyses, and site assessments at petroleum impacted and industrial sites. Design, implementation, and operation & maintenance of environmental remediation systems at contaminated sites. Collection of soil, groundwater, wastewater, and other environmental media samples for laboratory analysis and the generation of reports for clients and governmental agencies. Acquire and maintain necessary permits at project sites. Develop and implement site-specific remedial action plans, environmental health and safety plans, and serve as project site safety officer. Coordination and oversight of subcontractors and associated activities. Represent clients in meetings with regulatory agencies. Prepare bid proposals, service contracts, and cost estimates for prospective projects.

2008-2008 – Environmental O&C Project Manager: O’Brien & Gere, Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Environmental oversight and certification (O&M) project manager for the decommissioning and demolition of General Motors Lansing Car Assembly Plants in Lansing, Michigan. Provide direction and O&C for all aspects of plant demolition activities including ACM abatement, hazardous waste characterization and disposal, and associated environmental cleanup and response activities. Collect and analyze environmental media samples for compliance with site health & safety and applicable cleanup criteria. Implement and monitor site stormwater, soil erosion & sedimentation control, and air quality programs. Represent General Motors in interactions with subcontractors and regulatory agencies.

2005-2008 – Geologist / Hydrogeologist: KECK Consulting Services, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Project management and completion of Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, Baseline BEAs, and site assessments at contaminated sites. Conduct wetland investigations and delineations, and complete MDEQ/ACOE Joint Permit Applications for wetland projects. 2005-Present – Field Geologist: The Probe Geosanpling LLC, Otsego, Michigan.

Provide independent assistance and geologic expertise in association with the operation of a Geoprobe rig for the collection of soil and/or groundwater samples. Serve as field geologist for the interpretation and evaluation of recovered subsurface samples. Provide clients with field-based environmental / geological determinations and recommendations.

2002-2005 – Wetland Training Institute Instructor: Pierce Cedar Creek Institute, Hastings, Michigan.

Serve as expert/guest instructor for the Wetland Training Institute (WTI) ACOE Basic Wetland Delineation Course. Develop and present course materials regarding the regional implications for wetland hydrology associated with glacial landforms.
