Objective
My wife and I just returned from a 11 year absence from North East Ohio. We want to spend more time with our Kids and Grandkids.
I am looking for something in the Electrical field, Foreman, Supervisor and/or related, such as a Millwright or Maintenance.
Qualifications
I have been an Electrician for more than 30 years. I have worked Industrial, commercial, residential and substations and on Radar equipment.
I have worked in R&D, experimental, design & build. I am able to operate a very wide range of equipment, from tow motors to mobile cranes. Including but not limited to dozers, bobcats, skid steers, excavators, dump trucks, bucket trucks. I am also able to weld using MIG, TIG, Stick and cut using gas and plasma. I am able to use many types of meters and graphs, I use most hand tools and power tools. I spent time in the U S Army and was Honorably Discharged in the mid 1970`s.
Education
I attended grade school in Newark, Ohio. I graduated from Granville High School, Granville, Ohio. I graduated Park College Resident Ctr. Newark, Ohio B/A Business . I attended class at Miami Dade Community College while in the Army.
Relevant Experience
I mentioned previously, I have been an electrician for over 30 yrs. My Residential experience is from the ground up, installing conduit, meter cans, panels, running romex, receptacles, switches, fixtures. Rough thru finish.
My commercial experience is similar. Slab thru finish. Layout planning, service install, running conduit, wiring circuits, work thru to finish. I also do sign work including install, repair and maintenance. This includes neon, types of LED, and fluorescent. I have worked with high bay lighting, lot lighting, and street lighting, install, repair, and maintenance. My industrial experience is wide. Ranging from installing power sources, machine installs, maintenance and repairs, in steel mills, print shops, machine shops. I have some robotics experience. Water and Waste water treatment, PLC work, conveyers. Panel building and many custom fabrications. I have experience with Motor controls, pumps, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. I can also weld, stick, horizontal and vertical, MIG and TIG. I use gas cutters and plasma cutters. I can solder up to and including CAT 5. I also operate some heavy equipment, dozer, front end loader, backhoe, cranes, fixed and mobile, bobcat, ditch witch, dump trucks, bucket trucks. I have worked with cable TV, telephone, and data lines, and use most meters measuring capacitance, amps,
Volts and ohms. I bend conduit using hand benders to hydraulic benders. I use most hand tools and power tools.
Summary
I am honest and hard working. I worked for a gentleman for a few years as an Estate Manager. I took care of 3 properties. All multimillion dollar homes and furnishings, cars, boats, and motorcycles. I hired and fired subcontractors to work on these properties and did quite a lot of travel. I have come back to Ohio to watch my grand children grow and spend time with them and our children. My wife and I have been gone a long time and we are going to settle down for good in Northeast Ohio. I was a licensed Electrical Contractor in Ohio until the late 1990`s. I hold a journeyman’s license in South Florida
