SPECIAL PROJECTS (APRIL 2011 - PRESENT )
Organized, planned and initiated the transport and on-site delivery of fuel to Marcellous Shale hydraulic fracturing sites for the newly implemented Pennsylvania Refuelling Operations.
Duties included but were not limited to hiring and training of new employees, establishing safety protocols including Job Security Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures, modification of equipment, established beneficial contacts and connections with local industry and educational resources.
Assisting with establishment and operation of dedicated wholesale truck for the Carlisle, Pennsylvania location including customer service, locating potential customers and first line of communication for customers.
Assisting Northeast Regional Manager in various projects.
LEAD DRIVER , CARLISLE, PA (2004 - 2011)
On site supervisor for south-eastern Pennsylvania fuel operations of Pilot Travel Centers, LLC.
Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources to deliver fuel to Pilot / Flying J Travel Centers and wholesale customers in central Pennsylvania. Over 1.7 million gallons of fuel were delivered per week.
Oversee all aspects of operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
Manage drivers including hiring, scheduling, development, progressive discipline and termination.
Responsible for management and application of Department of Transportation regulations for equipment and drivers.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Expanded the Carlisle, Pennsylvania based operation from a one truck, two driver location with a negative profit to a four truck, ten driver location with a profit over $65,000 per month.
Intiated the incoproation of wholesale customers into daily operations increasing the customer base for central Pennsylvania by 25% ever year.
Consistently exceeded monthly, quarterly and yearly budgetary goals by 10% and surpassed benchmarks set for monthly profit and loss statement.
Voluntary turnover of less than 10%.
Developed two drivers from the Carlisle, Pennsylvania location and one from the Hagerstown, Maryland location to be Lead Drivers.
Ensured safety of all drivers and achieved no violations from the Department of Transportation in relation to the compliance for road-side inspections and hours-of-service violations.
Have earned the Safe Driver Award each year from 2002 through 2011.
