Career History
President & CEO, Dwinell’s Visual Systems (DVS), 2003 to 2009. After helping to orchestrate Anaplex Corporation’s purchase of Dwinell’s, consummated prior agreement to buy out owner of Anaplex, where I had served as head of marketing/sales from 2002 to 2003. Restructured/led 72-person, $6M DVS, returning it to profitability.
VP Sales & Marketing, DisplayScape Media, 2001 to 2002. Recruited to help orchestrate launch of this startup. Spearheaded formation of marketing/sales function, including web presence. Instrumental in acquisition of L.A. Graphics, a $7M high tech graphics wholesaler, giving DisplayScape a stable revenue base.
VP Sales & Marketing, Persona Inc., 1992 to 2001. After 1992 recruitment as Sales Manager, quickly advanced to VP National Sales and then VP Sales & Marketing based upon superior performance. Played key role in establishing company’s national prominence, building corporate identity programs that enabled capture of contracts with major US retailers and hospitality groups. Key contributor establishing three satellite production sites and $33M growth.
Earlier, served as Sales Consultant with Merrill Lynch and Dain Bosworth as well as NCO with US Air Force.
Outside interests include golf and coaching youth basketball and soccer. I have also been active in the United Way.
