August, 2009 Coating inspector/ consultant

• Scheduling and prioritizing work, assigning responsibilities, implementing requirements, and maintaining compliance with laws, standards, regulations, and company/customer requirements.

• Managing and directing the work for multiple shifts in multiple locations and attaining desired results.

• Coordinate supervision and implement quality control process to ensure compliance with various specifications e.g. NORSOK, NACE, SSPC, ASTM, ISO, etc.

• Hold pre job meetings, record and assign tasks; Administer surface preparations & coating applications in Accordance with instructions given by the job scope.

• Erect rigging to perform surface preparations at Heliports, waterline and over all structure using spiders, cables or boards to execute surface preparation on the steel substrate using hand tools, power tools, abrasive blasting or (UHP- ultra high pressure water jetting) on production rig, drilling rig, barges and tankers.

• Supervise abrasive blasting and Ultra high pressure water jetting along with coating applications and maintain proper documentation.

• Inspect and document work performed before, during and after project completion.

• Apply Marine coatings as instructed by the NACE inspector on site at the specified thickness with the required equipment in the appropriate manner.

• Perform surface preparation on blast yard, tank liners and shells, Vessels, pipes and many industrial steel structural structures; worked with ferrous and nonferrous substrates in compliance with written specifications

• Apply protective coatings with brushes, rollers, trowels, nozzles, conventional, airless, plural component & HVLP equipment with the aid of man lifts, scaffolds, stages, spiders, cables, boards, and many other types of equipment.
