SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

•Regional company plant engineer and technology leader of multiple plants with specialized teams of professional technicians who operate, repair, maintain, and upgrade blending, processing, and high speed packaging equipment for 11 motor oil, transmission oil, and gear production lines that generate in excess of 75 million gallons annually and maintain two 80,000 sq ft facilities. Capital Improvement, Process Management, Continuous Improvement (CI), Cost Engineering, and an optimized reliability program with key preventative and predictive maintenance strategies have reduced equipment downtime and increased production uptime significantly. Executes a $7 million operations and capital improvement budget. RESULTS: Deer Park, TX Valvoline Plant has outpaced all other company production facilities as the fastest growing and one of the largest packaging plants in the company. 99.8% service reliability score to our customers.

•Implemented a challenging management restructuring initiative. Supervised a 1,800 person team within eight organizations and the operations of 1,058 facilities, 659 housing units, and over 5,098 acres of grounds and airfields valued at over $3 billion. Streamlined the organizations and managed a $97 million annual operations budget. Executed a $45 million construction and design budget for infrastructure maintenance. RESULTS: Flawless and seamless transition for all involved organizations. Zero down time, uninterrupted service and logistical support to 42 agencies and a community of 60,000.

•Technology leader of specialized teams of professional managers and technicians who operated, repaired, maintained, and upgraded processing and high speed packaging equipment for 14 food production lines that generated in excess of 100 million pounds of meat annually and maintained a 100,000 sq ft facility. Capital Improvement, Process Management, Continuous Improvement (CI), and an aggressive preventative/predictive maintenance program reduced equipment downtime to less than 2%. Executed a $4.5 million operations and capital improvement budget. RESULTS: San Antonio Meat Plant single handedly serviced all 350 company stores without cutting product due to downtime or unavailability of production equipment. 99.5% service reliability score to the stores.

•Central leader of professional technicians who repaired and maintained processing and high speed packaging equipment for five individual food production lines that generated in excess of 75 million pounds of snack food annually in addition to maintaining the facilities. Reduced equipment downtime to less than 2%. RESULTS: San Antonio Operations ranked number 3 of 37 plants within Frito-Lay and was awarded two company quality awards and one government-level safety award.

•Led an eight-member project team of engineers, contractors, and finance experts who selected and procured shelters to protect $240 million of critical equipment from inclement weather. Spearheaded the processes of selecting contractors and overseeing construction and inspections. Coordinated construction activities to minimize negative employee impact. Implemented safety precautions for impacted employees. RESULTS: Reduced equipment maintenance costs by over $100,000 annually.

•Championed the use of best practices and innovative technology to enhance team performance and overall safety. Evaluated the programs of 22 units of more than 6,000 personnel and 57 aircraft worth over $3 billion. Directed a $140 million upgrade project.
