• I worked as the receptionist for OSHA Region VI Office in Dallas, TX.
• Receive, date stamp and disseminate all incoming mail to the various units within the Regional Office. Assist in mailing out Star Certificates for the Voluntary Protection Program. Receive and disseminate Record Authentication Certificates from the 12 Area Offices in Region 6 and created a log in excel. They are then returned to field offices with the appropriate signatures. Also responsible for mailing publications and posters out to Region 6 customers and CSHO personnel.
• Responsible for all incoming Fed Ex and UPS packages that require a signature for employees in the office. Created a log in excel designed to track packages in the office and reduced misplaced packages in the process. Also manage the Fed Ex accounts of two regional employees. This includes preparing the packages and sending them out.
• Responsible for maintaining the Regional library for technical standards and general regional publications in Access Database. This includes Technical Industry Standards, Federal Registers and BNA Reporter. An excel log is kept for tracking standards to the field offices.
• Responsible for emailing daily BNA Highlights, i.e., Petroleum News Online Edition to employees in the 12 Area offices and the Regional Office
• Assist with training by entering DL 1-101 forms for the region into the data base.
• Work as back-up when the Regional Administrator's Secretary is out of the office (answering Regional Administrator's phone and other duties).
• Additional duties include scheduling and maintaining the appointment calendar for Regional Office conference room. Assisting professionals in Regional Office with routine day to day typing on an as needed basis and assisting with preparing travel vouchers. Also do daily routine copying as needed.
