TOOLING DESIGN ENGINEER, EATON AEROSPACE, 2007 - 2008 & 2010

Aurora and Broomfield locations, Colorado

• Contract position – Utilizing ProENGINEER 2001 & Wildfire 2.0 & 3.0; In Aurora CO 2007 thru 2008 designed complex weld tooling fixtures for hydraulic tubing weldment assemblies and tooling fixtures to assist with assembly for parts used on the F35 Joint Strike Fighter Aircrafts and other Boeing Aircraft. In Broomfield CO 2010 designed a large Insulation Wrapping machine and several pressure test tools.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER, MARK VII EQUIPMENT INC., 2008 - 2009

Arvada, Colorado

• Utilizing Solid Edge 3D design software responsible for engineering, designing, developing, prototyping, testing designs and trouble shooting equipment such as pumping plants, foam generators, plumbing configurations and arches for rollover and tunnel car washes.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER, GATES RUBBER CORPORATION, 2000 - 2006

Denver, Colorado

• Responsible for designing, developing and prototyping of individual components as well as complete AirSpring suspension systems used on upscale vehicles for companies including BMW, Audi, Volvo, General Motors, Delphi, Ford and Peugeot. Designs performed using CATIA and AutoCAD.

• Designed and created 3D models of injection molded parts, machined parts and kinematic test fixtures.

• Performed dimensional and geometric tolerance studies ensuring form, fit and function as well as adherence to ANSI Y14.5M.

• Ran kinematic testing on 3D virtual AirSpring models utilizing CATIA.

• Generated NC Mill tool paths for multi-axis machine shop equipment.
