ACHIEVEMENTS in the current job:
• Physical Therapy consultant (Assit. Chief) in Saudi German hospital Jeddah (250 beds)
• Have been assigned in the last years as the quality improvement (QI) representative of physical therapy department.
• Prepared the first policy and procedure of the department according to the standards of ARAMCO and MRQP and JCI.
• Our department was accredited by ARAMCO survey and JCI and we was appreciated from the surveyors regarding documentation improvement in the department.
• Assisted the department in other hospitals in the previously mentioned point as our policy and procedure was generalized in the whole SGH group.
• Certificate of appreciation for department JCI accreditation April 2009 as I was the department quality coordinator and head of the department quality improvement team.
• Assisted in the preparation of the physiotherapy department in SGH Sana as many things were done regarding MTM, documentation, maintenance, and manpower.
• Nominated as the best doctor in SGH Jeddah at May 2007.
• Was assigned as scientific coordinator for the trainee in our department and I was appreciated in this regard from the higher management, and I was shared in the training of more than 100 trainees in physiotherapy department.
• Was assigned as the co chairman of evidence based physical therapy symposium held in SGH 15-16 Apr 2006.
• Prepared an updated treatment protocols for the most common cases that are referred to physiotherapy department and I am in the way to make a unified protocols in the physiotherapy department in the whole SGH group.
• Conducted many sessions for the physiotherapists and assistant physiotherapists for training on “How to solve MOH license exam”.
• Prepared a new physiotherapy management sheet (on the base of SOAP form) and new referral form and it was sent to the physiotherapy department in the whole group to be the standard forms. These forms reflected on the improvement of our documentation in the department.
• Lecturer in Saudi German Institute for Nursing and Allied health professional (SGNA), Physiotherapy department, Jeddah for the following courses: “Electro physical agents in physiotherapy”, “Basic Biomechanics” and “Orthotics and prosthetic”.
• Lecturer for nurses regarding how to use proper body mechanics during work and I was appreciated from the Academic affair for helping in increasing the awareness of other colleagues in other departments.
