Responsible for the day to day running of a very successful specialty medical office.

Maintain and supervise all computer software and hardware.

Billing of medical claims for all visits and procedures. Do all coding of CPT’s and ICD-9 codes.

Credentialing of Physicians as well as all insurance contracting. Very knowledgeable of RBRVS, Medicare and Medicaid and Private Insurances

Many years of Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance medical billing and coding. Billing Supervisor and A/R Manager for Health Care facilities since 1990. . I began as a Medical Assistant working in OB/GYN and Family Planning Clinics. I have worked in various physician offices doing everything from making appointments to assisting in office procedures and venipuncture. I have worked in the Durable Medical Equipment industry and now in a specialty clinic for the last seven years. I have managed staff from 2 – 20 and feel I am a good motivator. I am an excellent judge of character and can interview and hire the best candidates. I have very good common sense, stress efficiency and have an eye to reduce waste. I can oversee and control all financial management processes. I have strong Clinic managerial experience and am strong in medical terminology. I am experienced in a broad range of technology use to support the medical office, including accounting, billing and client record data base programs. Able to troubleshoot software and hardware problems and/or liaison with technicians. I have created and implemented most forms used wherever I work. I have also been involved in numerous software conversions and am very capable of handling any system changes or conversions. I am willing to relocate and travel.
