JOB OBJECTIVE
I am an experienced Quality Assurance Manager and I have 10 years of experience with quality control and 13 years experience as Production Manager. I have set up Quality assurance systems according to ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001. I have experience with reorganization and flattening organizations from highly hierarchical to short communication lines.
QUALIFICATIONS
I have been in the navy for 6 years as a communication specialist. I specialized in verbal communications, lamp signaling (Morse) and signal flags.
In Gieterij Neede BV I have done different jobs and different training skills.
Forming and casting moulds and grinding castings for the first 2 years.
Melting with a Cupolar Furnace for 5 years. During this time, I started with the education for Metallurgy and Foundry Technology.
Melting with Rotating Furnace for 7 years. Finished the education for Metallurgy and Foundry Technology with a Degree. Next to the melting, I was Assistant Production manager for the last 3 years in this function. Off 2000 I melted Aluminum in Electrical Furnaces and off 2006 I have melted Bronze in a Gas heated Furnace.
Production Manager for 7 years. During this time followed schooling for Production Management, Advanced Production Management and did a course for Internal Auditor ISO.
Next to my function of Production Manager I was Quality Assurance Manager for this company. I started these functions in 1998.
During my time as Production Manager, we performed a big change in the organization of the company and flattened the company’s organization to become more direct communication lines top down and vice versa.
In 2005, I became fulltime Quality Assurance Manager. Next to the quality assurance, I took care of setting up the ISO 9001-2000 system for our company and the maintenance of this system. Also working conditions, environment and energy management were under my responsibility. Safety manager and chief of company first aid department and supported and trained the new Production Manager. This function I have been performing till now. Communications with local government about environment and with other foundries about environment, working conditions and energy management. Quality control of the castings. Communications with the customers regarding quality issues.
All my functions have always been hands-on.
Communications with foreign customers has been under my responsibility since 1998. Here I perform sales, quality issues and all on going business. This regards the customers outside Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. I am trilingual and speak and write fluently English, Dutch and German.
In 2006, I became works manager of the bronze foundry next to my job as QA Manager.
The bronze foundry we bought in 2006 was specialized in casting Arts. Setup the foundry to cast as well Arts as Industrial bronze and all alloys of bronze.
Since 1998 Vice President in the company.
Since 1998 member of the management team.
Did research on changing of organizations and performed this at the company.
Took several courses regarding metallurgy, environment and safety.
Performing P&O for the last 2 years, especially supporting sick employees and re-integration of disabled employees.
Setting up Quality assurance system and 03-01-2008 – present setting up quality control system on project base in the function of Quality Manager at Hittech Gieterij Nunspeet BV due to the quality problems and quality assurance problems they had.
Reduced rejects in the present company with 80%.
Still working as advisor at Gieterij Neede BV in cases of quality assurance and quality problems.
In my function of advisor for Gieterij Neede B.V. we have set up an ISO 14001 system and the company became its certificate on the 13th of October 2008.
At Hittech Gieterij Nunspeet BV had a qualification audit for the German Railways for Manufacturer Product Quality Certificate for casting and heat treating Aluminum. Resolved a few minor non-conformities and getting certificate end of October 2008.
