• Follow up meetings on 1QDC process, planning sheets, and 1QDC deliverables sheets.
• Working with PD and Japan for drawing distribution to allow Purchasing to initiate Request for Quotes.
• Coordinate Design reviews between PD and each department for input on Ease of Manufacturing
• Coordinate between Purchasing, Assembly and PD Make versus Buy strategy and plan
• Take all items from cross functional meetings and combine into a 1QDC Subject Setting Meeting to present in front of executives asking for approval to proceed.
• Conducting progress checks at periodic times in the project.
• Insure all 1QDC deliverables are attained by the due date.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering weld trial dates and quantities. Entering all MIR requests into PYMAC system.
• Making lists of trial parts needed for trials for each section and having purchasing order with a schedule of quantities and due dates.
• Creating MIR for parts to be pulled and where to be sent to.
• Creating commercial invoices for shipping parts.
• Constantly working on improving part delivery, parts receiving,
and parts flow from distribution centers to plant to line side.
• Work together with Assembly Manager to map out date, time, and quantity for pilot builds, ramp ups and mass production.
• Coordinate with production planner for serials numbers for units being built at pilot.
• Issue pilot allocation and pilot notification sheets

• Work on a cross functional team to do vehicle teardowns for the purpose of cost down activities and also ease of manufacturing

• Receive model information from Japan and update our 1QDC New model schedule with this information
• Managing the Master Problem List (MPL) from the Pilot builds, ranking problems by severity, appointing the issues to appropriate personnel, with due dates to complete the tasks.
• Working with sales group for dealer/vendor tours and also for vehicle production video shoots and market implementation.
• Working with daily changes and much stress stemming from these changes and the daily problems that occur with the launch of new models and also Project Leader project issues that arise.

Handle all ECI and new products for Toyota, Chrysler, GM, Ford, Mitsubishi, Honda, Kia and Subaru.

Keeping a close eye on all OEM, Service, & Material planner activities to ensure the material is here on time and distributed to the proper lines for production.
