About ALSTOM T & D: The Company is the first manufacturer and a pioneer to produce a 100% localized 765 KV Generator Power Transformer in India which is a major landmark in the Indian Power industry. The 765 KV Transformer is part of the first-ever private sector 765 KV Ultra High Voltage (UHV) order, which comprises of 29 Power Transformers and Reactors, including 11 Generator Transformers, which are being manufactured at the Vadodara plant.

Responsibilities:

As Asst. Manager:

Currently officiating as Asst. Manager for the 765 KV Ultra High Voltage transformers manufacturing unit and involved in planning in-process inspection & development of Quality plan for transformer projects.

Responsible for strategic supply base development to improve the company’s supply base, including driving quality and productivity improvements at existing suppliers and deploying standardized supplier quality management systems

Key role in supplier development, evaluation and auditing along with handling inspection activities at all stages of the manufacturing process as per International guidelines

Accountable for performing in-process inspection as per Global Quality Assurance plans set

Instrumental in inspecting the transformer tank (Mechanical Fabrication Inspection) and different material used at various manufacturing units
