Mail Clerk Technician for the Bethesda location maintaining a very organize mail shop. Using the computer to look up and location co-worker. Work independently with little or no supervision communicate with all levels of management. Responsible for the distribution of mail and packages such as FedEx, UPS, Airborne and also tracking packages with the help of a tracking number to located the packages and see who sign for it as will as the time it arrived. And keep a copy of all incoming packages and monologue of outgoing packages so it will be easy to track them if lost. This procedure was handled by using a device call a Symbol Palm Terminal 1700 which you would scan the package and the cluster box. Responsible for placing the order for the copy paper and restocking
the copy rooms when the rooms were low.
January 2002 to August 2003: Fannie Mae Mail Clerk Technician (Contractor)
Responsible for sorting the incoming mail such as first class and bulk package. Responsible, for sorting , and the delivery of mail and packages such as Airborne, FedEx and UPS. Using a scanner to scan each mail stop to insure an accurate mail run each day. Also providing assistance to customers with in the guidelines. Knowledge of the mail metering machines such as the Ascom Hasler System 335 plus along with the accountable mail system AMS 24 and the Ascom Intel touch system. Knowledge of the Cisco IP 7960 phone system. Responsible for restocking the copy rooms when the rooms were low on paper.
October 2000 to January 2002: Mail Clerk Technician (Contractor)

Organize and distribute approximately 1,000 pieces of correspondence/mail each day, including highly confidential documents. Independently receive, unload, sort and deliver mail for three floors of an agency in an access-secured Federal building. At times, tubs weigh approximately 50 pounds. Use personal judgment to decide where to deliver individual pieces of correspondence/mail. Prepare and mail packages of regional mail. Ensures that articles are not misplaced, or tampered with while they are within my possession.
